What is myCloud?
myCloud is a Lagoon 440 catamaran based in New Caledonia. This site presents the boat; the digital logbook that tracks its maintenance is a private app.
Is the digital logbook available?
Not yet: the app is currently being designed. This site describes the principles chosen.
Will it work without a connection?
That is a design goal: connectivity aboard is often missing, so the app has to stay usable offline.
What data is published?
The boat specification sheet and a dated list of recent work. Serial numbers, the radio call sign, the position and personal documents are never published.
Will data be exportable?
That is planned: export to spreadsheet (CSV) and PDF, so that data is not locked into the app.
How can a file be shared with a mechanic or a buyer?
The principle is sharing limited to what is needed, with a fixed access duration, revocable at any time.
Where is the boat?
The position is not published. If it ever is, it will be dated and delayed.
Which languages?
The site and the logbook are bilingual, French and English.
