The problem
A boat generates as much paperwork as a small company
Invoices in four currencies, warranties, service intervals, contractors, insurance, spares on board: it all ends up scattered between a binder, emails and a phone.
myCloud starts from one simple rule: everything belongs to a piece of equipment. The port engine has its own record; its oil changes, invoices, hours and next due date are linked to it. Everything else follows: the boat plan, reminders, finances and the sale file.
The myCloud logbook in October 2026, rebuilt from the boat’s whole archive.
What the app does
The whole boat, in your pocket
The boat at a glance
A plan and a 3D model of the boat, area by area, with a green, amber or red dot for the state of maintenance.
One record per item
Make, model, installation date, manuals, photos and full history. Serial numbers stay hidden without permission.
Planned maintenance
Due dates by calendar or engine hours, reminders at 90, 30 and 7 days, in the phone’s calendar, with a summary every Monday.
Invoices from a photo Soon
Today each invoice is linked to its equipment in a few taps. Soon one photo will be enough: AI will read the supplier, amount and currency.
Boat finances
Spending by year, category and equipment, in XPF, euros and dollars; insurance and contracts with their renewal dates.
Contractors
Work orders, hours spent, before and after photos: every job is followed like a project.
Life on board
Mandatory safety gear, departure checklists, spare parts, first-aid kit and a dictated logbook.
Live energy Soon
Victron VRM readings: batteries, solar, wind and alarms, without ever controlling the boat remotely. Ready, being switched on.
Boat and tender
Several vessels in one logbook, each with its own areas, equipment and maintenance.
Day to day
From a receipt to a reminder, in four steps
- SnapThe rigger’s invoice, the chandlery receipt or a device’s nameplate.
- CheckSupplier, amount, currency and equipment are filled in within seconds (soon suggested by AI).
- LinkThe expense joins the equipment record, the year’s budget and the contractor.
- Get remindedThe next due date lands in the phone’s calendar, well before anything fails.
Security and privacy
Private by design
The public site tells the boat’s story; the app only shows itself to the crew.
- Password plus one-time code sign-in, each device confirmed once.
- Permissions per person: owner, crew, contractor, buyer.
- The public site never reads the private database; nothing is published without an explicit choice.
- No live position, serial number or radio call sign online.
- Installs on the phone, readable in full sun, in French and English.
- One-click sale file: history, proof of maintenance and a time-limited link for a buyer.
Questions
The boat management app, in practice
Which boats is it for?
Any boat that is looked after seriously: cruising catamaran or monohull, sailboat in refit, charter unit, boat for sale. The log is organised by zones and equipment, whatever the layout.
How is it set up?
BFO Partners takes over your archive (invoices, manuals, surveys, photos), creates zones and equipment, links each document and schedules the first deadlines. You get a log that is already filled in and ready to use aboard.
How long does it take?
Mostly it depends on the size of the archive to take over. The timing is set at the first exchange, after a look at your documents.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the archive and on how many people will use the log. BFO Partners sends a quote after a first exchange, with no commitment.
Where is my data?
On European hosting, in a private space: access by invitation, each device confirmed once, roles per person and a log of every access. Financial views export to CSV and PDF.
What is coming soon?
AI invoice reading and Victron data reading are ready and being switched on. Offline mode is not available yet.
